Journey of a Fragment

Marion Brew, Kenneth Griffin, Ali Hassan Ibrahim, Mohamed Shebib

This video was taken in the the span of a few days to trace the journey of a carved limestone fragment found just outside of TT 390 back to the tomb of Karakhamun (TT 223) where it was originally located. It is just one of the examples of the stages of conservation and reconstruction of Karakhamun performed by our skilled multinational team.

  1. Wow that is great, I hope you find a lot more. It is amazing how quick it is with the software to get it together.

  2. Wonderful insight into “how it’s done” and all the painstaking hard work that goes in to it. And thank goodness for your jsesh programme.
